Last Minute Target run...

Um...trying to figure out this blogging thing before we go. It's actually kind of fun! I thought we were doing so good with having all the necessary supplies...today I kept thinking that we were so on top of it because we weren't making that last minute trip to Target to get some "emergency" item. Then...the accidental vacuuming of the headphones this evening. My children can add this to their list of reasons why it's stupid to vacuum before you leave to go out of town.

The Day Before...

We're getting packed and ready to go! We are excited about our California adventure! The prospect of our early morning flight (leaving at 6:50 AM) has changed this procrastinator packer and family into action. (You know, we have a hard time getting out of the house for a 10 AM departure!) Abigail suggested that we just stay up all night...hopefully that won't be a necessity. I'm not sure I will see bright and smiley faces at 4 AM, but we will be off to a great trip! We're so grateful to the Lord for this time.
