As I'm typing this, I'm on the pull-out couch in the hotel next to my sweet sleeping Abigail. We have worn her out! We got back from dinner this evening and without any prompting, she got ready for bed, laid down, and was fast asleep. Today we went to La Jolla Cove Beach - WOW! It is one of the most photographed beaches in California - for good reason. We had fun climbing and exploring. Then we took an AMAZING kayak tour. We saw about 10 sea lions sunning themselves on some rocks. One swam about 10 feet from Jerry and Abigail's kayak. (We didn't take our camera - just in case we tipped...fortunately, we all stayed in our kayaks!) As we were enjoying God's creation today, I couldn't help but marvel at the beauty and the vastness of it all. He created such an amazing world filled with so many unique creatures in it, and He cares for ME! It blows my mind!
